My Anglican brother product manager here at Logos, who shares an office with me, alerted me that an attack book on EGW just got posted as an SDA product in Logos: Prophetess of Health by Ronald Numbers. This book caused a lot of confusion several decades ago when I was a young pastor. It mixes basically sound research with some unnecessary and certainly unfair insinuations or conclusions. So whats going on with this book now in Logos? First of all, please know that nobody here at Logos is targeting Seventh-day Adventists with this book. It came over from Eerdmans in a huge bulk licensing deal that involved more than 300 books (some of which are really great acquisitions). I immediately had it un-tagged as a Seventh-day Adventist document. One benefit of representing our church here is that I can look after SDA interests appropriately.
