My August 1 post was in regards to Oregons Multnomah County Animal Services. They are notorious for euthanasia even when a rescue group is set to accept the animal. In the case that prompted my post, a dog named Gumby was being placed by a non profit rescue and then the dog was euthanized instead of released to the non profit. In fact, the statement taken form his file at MCAS was date of killing unknown. They dont even use a professional term, just date of killing unknown. And so it is in Oregon, a bunch of jack asses run the show, the animals are killed, a bunch of legislative jerks lead by an old fart named Courtney who should have left the floor or died long ago, a Governor who has made Oregon the Blunder Poster Child of Obamacare and the medicaid capital of the USA, at the bottom of the economic recovery - explains the Medicaid capital of the USA, no one has a job that pays decently or is stuck working for crappy company like me - and to top it off the jerks running the show are always on vacation and raking int he 6 and 7 figure income and benefits as a PERS employee - which in Oregon means you will get a free ride at more income then you made when you were supposedly working, never pay the Arts Tax in Multnomah County and never be on Oregons Medicaid that will attach your estate when you die over 55 years of age. So, if you can see it in your hearts, please spread the word about Gumbys murder. The entire USA is plagued by the mentality that euthanasia is the answer when in fact it is the problem. Spay, neuter and education with resources to helppeople keep their pets is the answer. That is what my non profit is for and that is what kittysgonegreen is determined to fund.
