My Aunt Berdie died. We are grieving. My pal Drew Warwick was checking on me today. Love that. Thankful for loving friends. Friends that are there for you even from a great distance. Time apart changes nothing with those dearest of friends. Friends that are more like family than just friends. Like when Michael Carr drove over 3 hours for Isabellas funeral. Doing things like that really impacts people. Lauren Maness-Effler and Megan Hickle sitting and crying with Jennifer Cooke Williams. Just part of the family. John Williams being there just after Berdie passed. Just part of the family Porshia Edmondson being there to keep my kids so Jessica Tye Cooke and I could stay as long as we wanted. Just part of the family. Humans are so relational. Be relational. Look beyond yourself. Think of you who can love. How you can minister. Who do you love that might be hurting, and how might you help? Think that way everyday. Who can I serve? You are never more like God than when you love and serve others (Matthew 20:28, Phil. 2:1-11) Thank you to all of you I mentioned here, and to all those of you who have loved, and served that I have not mentioned. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed by my family, nor by our Heavenly Father.
