My Baby Girl bought me cds as one of my gifts. Mary J. Blige new cd being one of them. Although I love Mary J this one song that stayed in rotation about Whole Year crap was kinda depressing to me. I received the gift with loving welcome but went into it upon traveling back with negative mindset. So I popped it in the cd player thinking I hope the rest of the cd isnt depressing and bc I chose negative going in I couldnt receive the messages bc I had CD BLOCK MINDSET....lol I listened to the entire cd and was like this is depressing. Then I thought later that day we have all gone thru some things in life MYSELF INCLUDED why am I so hard on her for finally dealing with things she has suppressed for years and probably hasnt been able to vocalize/sing about when it was needed probably due to her hands being tied with music industry controls here in the United States. So the next morning during my drivetime I decided to give Mary another shot in my cd player. I pushed play and Low N Behold this is my favorite new cd....I had to embrace her message of life and living and adjusting....embrace her journey via musical message. I embraced the Europe/UK beats (anyone who has ever lived in Europe/UK know they love some beats).....Now I find myself driving and singing her songs. They have so much meaning to those that can relate! This is one of my favorite
