My Book – Life’s Mountains I rarely ever post on FB to market - TopicsExpress

My Book – Life’s Mountains I rarely ever post on FB to market my book…. but I figure as Christmas is coming I might was well get the word out! My older son Grant will be graduating from high school this year and heading off to college, so I’m VERY motivated to save some money to help him pay the high cost (and I’m so excited he wants to be a wildlife biologist like his mommy!!!). I was diagnosed with the grade 4 GBM brain tumor in June 2000 and was told I would die within a year. In June 2004 I was still alive and decided to celebrate beating the statistics by climbing to the peak of Mt Shasta in Northern CA. During the challenging climb I realized that there is similarity between going through the trial of battling a “terminal” brain cancer and climbing a trail up Mt Shasta. I was motivated to write a book in hopes to encourage others battling brain cancer to not give up! Now December 2014, it’s been an ongoing battle. I’ve taken my book out many times, opening it up to read, reminding myself that there is a “peak” to each Life’s Mountain we climb, that brings us a new amazing view of life! I hope my book inspires others who are going through hard times in life, to not give up. I put my heart into my book! I never thought I would ever write a book, being a wildlife biologist and never getting the best school grades in English!!! But I am SO happy to know that my book has gotten many great reviews and support. My book has gotten a 4.5 star rating! To my fellow brain tumor survivors and caregivers, keep up the fight! Even while battling an ugly brain tumor, it’s still possible to get out and have fun in life. It takes time to recover from surgery (I’ve been through 6 of them), and being on chemo and radiation can drag you down, but it can get better. I tell myself, I will NOT let the cancer take my life while I am still alive! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas this year and many many years to come. You can get my book at Amazon, either paper book or Kindle. HOPE you like it! You can read the reviews there on Amazon. amazon/dp/B009FCP2FC
