My Breakfast Pie for You. Going to SCHOOL isn’t a guarantee that You will be RICH! Don’t get me wrong. Education is IMPORTANT! But if getting rich is your life mission like it was mine, going to school doesn’t guarantee that. I would look at the PhDs and Professors who came in to teach me everyday. These guys were educated. They had read all the books they could, yet they were going on strike at the drop of a hat because they were in a dispute with the government of the day over . . . you guessed it.. . MONEY! An increase in salary! I would always wonder. Why spend 5-7 years for a Degree, then 2 years for a Masters and another 2 years for a PhD, with all the attendant stress only to end up fighting the government over a meagre increase in your salary. I was mystified. Again, I would look at them and my father was better than these guys! They didn’t even have their own cars for Christ’s sake! All they did half the time they spent in class was moan about the Vice-Chancellor, the government and about the economy, and find ways to squeeze students out of their money in the name of handouts, ‘sorting’, etc. Find a Strategy that will keep you going, Dont rely too much on the School because its a Government property not Yours.
