My Christian friends, SEE THE TRUTH ABOUT SIN AND IT WILL NOT BE SO TEMPTING O:) The tempter is called Ball-aebub. In Hebrew the means; lord of the dung heap. So satan literally means, master of the pile of waste. Our enemy is the lord of the dung heap, and all his ways are as dung. Dont you see? Everything satan tempts us with comes from a pile of crap! The Hebrews spoke with loathing when it came to the devil, sin, or evil. The better we realize what sin is the better we can avoid being drawn into it. When you indulge in sin, you end up in a pile of dung. Think of the prodigal son slopping it up with the pigs in their pen. (Luke 15:11-32) Any country kid knows not to go play in the pig pen, woooo weee that stinks!! Only pigs waller in the mud and their own poop! When you see the enemys temptations for what they really are you will flat handed turn his temptations down! Because his temptations are a pile of crap! So dont be tempted by sin. See it for what it really is, sin is not a pleasure, not a thrill, not a joy, but something filthy, disgusting, and defiling. Hate what GOD hates so much you will not allow yourself to take part in it. Hate sin so much you are willing to snatch others from the very flames of hell. Jude 1:22-23 “Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.” According to this, our evangelism should be characterized by mercy for the sinner and a healthy hatred of sin and its effects. Memorize this verse from Romans and repeat when tempted to sin. Remember, you are not indulging in pleasure when you indulge in sin YOU ARE WALLERING IN FILTH AND BECOMING AN ENEMY OF GOD ALMIGHTY!! Romans 8:5-8 For those who live according to the flesh [old nature] set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the spirit [new nature], the things of the spirit. For to be carnally minded is DEATH, but to be spiritually minded is LIFE and PEACE. Because the carnal mind is hostile against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God The Word of GOD says that God hates sin. “For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you” (Psa. 5:4; cf. Prov. 6:16-19). He hates sin because He is holy (cf. Isa. 6:3). Sin is completely contradictory to His Holy & Divine Nature. And as imitators of God (Eph. 5:1), Christians are to hate sin (cf. Psa. 97:10). Why does God hate the sin of mankind? Because sin separates us from Him (cf. Isa. 59:2). Sin is a death sentence (cf. Rom. 3:23; 6:23). But because God loves mankind, He sent His Son into the world to pay the price for sin (1 John 4:8-9). That’s how passionately God loves us, and that’s how vehemently He hates our sin. We are to have compassion on sinners for whom Christ died, and we are also to keep ourselves “from being polluted by the world”—part of what constitutes “pure and faultless” religion (James 1:27). The TEMPTATION TO SIN! We have an enemy and he is known as the tempter. Many times we want to say the devil made us do it but it is our own desires that draw us away into sin. The tempter’s job is to tempt, to try, so that to make the one that is tried to fall. As it is evident from the above, the one that does this is the devil. 1 Thessalonians 3:5 when I [Paul] could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means THE TEMPTER HAD TEMPTED YOU, and our labor might be in vain Our spirit is willing but our flesh wants to do what is contrary to GODs commands. This is why we must be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit of GOD Almighty. We must lean upon the Holy Spirit to guide us away from the temptations of sin. James said, Let no one say when he is tempted, I am being tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.… James 1:13-15 GOD is not tempted by sin. When we lean on Him we will be victorious against the wiles of the devil.
