My Christmas Story. These are my new foster dogs, Fritz and Lady. They were rescued on Monday in terrible condition by Ohio Lurcher Project. Fritz came in at 41 pounds and Lady a paltry 39 pounds. Both need a good 10 pounds or more put on. Both with a variety of parasites. Lady has tested positive for Lyme antibodies. More testing to find out if it is an active infection. Last night we had high winds here. I thought these two babies would blow away like dead leaves. Its going to be a long road for these two. I accept this challenge.
