My Christmas hope for all my friends is that youd give this a read and listen deeply to the song!! For my eyes have seen your salvation. These words of testimony serve as witness from an elderly and devout man named Simeon. This man who believed and faithfully honored God had been waiting in hopeful expectation of Gods Messiah to come into this world. Im not sure if he expected that the Savior-King would be enfleshed in the form of an infant child. Yet, taking the child from His mothers arms, these are the prophetic words that he uttered in the presence of all: For my eyes have seen your salvation which you have prepared before the face of all peoples, a Light to bring revelation to those blinded by darkness and to reveal your glory to those who have believed. Yes, this holy child of promise was given to all people - no one was discarded. This child was Gods gift of salvation to all of humanity, for God so loved the world.
