My Church Experience Today: As I have admitted previously, it is very difficult for me to attend a worship service with out evaluating. Today I attended a service where the very first thing the Pastor said was Lets pull out our Bibles and turn to Acts 12 and then he said I love to hear the rustling of pages as you turn in your Bibles. iPhones and iPads are fine but we prefer you bring your Bibles so you can follow along and make notes. So please bring your Bibles. I only read the Bible via my iPhone or iPad and I am proficient at highlighting, making notes etc. but after that statement I felt like some kind of an outcast as I followed along using the You Version Bible on my iPhone. I thought to myself the guy just alienated about half the crowd. Thoughts?
