My Crown Here upon the mountain top, Capstone all - TopicsExpress

My Crown Here upon the mountain top, Capstone all alone, World below me all arrayed, Atop the troubles I have known, The grand design at once revealed, Winds of triumph now my queen, All mortal questions have been answered, My life a mountains been, Most would cry out victory, And rest wrapped in their peace, With all their doubts and fears and wants, Defeated at their feet, But why do I still feel alone, Your mountain nowhere in sight, Something still doesnt settle well, In Heaven theres still a plight, I lost you in the life I lived, Was forced to let you go, Watched you then marry another, The pain how it did grow, With all my strength I carried on, My faith in God above, Knowing how Hed help me through, By His eternal love, His promise kept He brought me here, Piled high my troubles seen, Laid me down upon my crown, O how far Ive been, Yet somewhere lost upon my face, Your stone that holds me high, And though I feel His love and grace, Theres still a lonesome sky, This mountain of my life once lived, Built upon my woe, Though all the Earthly cares have passed, Still I love you so, Where before I prayed for peace, And though Im in its place, Now I pray He will remove, The stones that form my base, In hopes that in the falling, My lifes mounting tumbling down, I may one more time see your face, As I give up my crown. - DNH 07/2014
