My Dad Leslie Clark (Lofty) pass away last September and in going through his thousands on photograph that he had taken over is life I found many from his time with 2ACS at Butterworth during its construction in the 50s. They got me to thinking about the very few stories that he told about his time there and was wondering if there were any of his mates still out there or their families that may have memories that they would like to share with my brother and myself. below is a photo of him taken at Rathmines in 1953. My appologies if I have some of the spellings wrong but some the names on the back were a little hard to read. Id like to see if I can get all the names on this one correct for a start and as I scan his work Ill post from time to time to see if it jogs any memories.
