My Dad............Someone who made everyone smile. The past 10 years hes been making dollar bills into little t-shirts and giving them out to strangers (mostly pretty women and children....go figure), just to make them smile. He volunteered at many nursing homes to make balloon arrangements, put on magic shows and at restaurants, turn paper napkins into flowers to give to the waitress. He adored his grandchildren beyond belief and was the best father anyone could ever have hoped for. He was a genuine hero who would give the shirt off his back to comfort someone else that was cold. He loved to joke around, was adventurous, loved magic mountain rides, and here he is riding the mechanical bull at the Saddleranch Steak House on Sunset. He dressed as Santa at Christmas time and handed out little gifts to children. As a husband to my mother, he rolled out the red carpet. He was an incredible cook. We are a blessed family that were and continue to be very close. Dad and I had a very special connection. There was nothing....I mean nothing that he and I couldnt talk about. Last night Heaven just received a new angel. Mom, my brother Mark and I were there for him every day. He was adiment that mom and I spent the night with him, so we did. As he faded, I was hugging him listening to his heart until it stopped right in my ear. No one has any regrets, and he was in the best of the best care and in absolutely no pain at all. Heaven will never be the same. Enjoy your new journey, Daddy-doo. You will be missed like crazy down here, but will remain in our hearts forever. I love you.
