My Dad has had this one Cardiologist for over 10 years since his open heart surgery. When he was in the hospital almost 2 weeks ago his cardiologist had thrown around the word Pace Maker but in the end told my Dad it was not needed now, sooner or later though! This past Thursday my Dad ended up in the ER cause he had not felt well since he came home from the hospital. Different hospital,different Doctors! They did a CT scan and found he had a stroke Thursday on the way to the hospital, they of course kept him thank GOD it was a mini stroke, Friday afternoon they did an MRI because my Dad could not speak, he was slurring and bad off, the results came back he had blood clots and multiple ones on his brain! They have monitored him since and 4 doctors on his case,my Dad told me last night his cardiologist said If its not broke dont fix it the doctors here take it day by day it was decided yesterday he needed this pacemaker, so here we are today @ 3 he gets the pacemaker. The whole point of my post is my Dad is broke and this new cardiologist saw it,so it looks like he will have a new Dr. I missed a few things but Yall get the point! I have prayed for my Dad for years not just days and will continue too!! xo
