My Dads all time favorite singers! Missing you today and everyday. Its weird that I didnt mail a card or can pick up the phone to tell my dad happy Fathers Day this year. A memory that I will be sharing is a life lesson that I learned from my dad; good sportsmanship. I was in 4th grade playing YMCA basketball and we lost against a team from Horace Mann Elementary. I was so upset and mad that I ran outside to my dads green truck without telling the other team good game. As my dad came out to his truck, I thought I was going to get in big trouble. Instead, we sat in his truck and he explained to me that I couldnt win at everything and that I needed to fail and lose sometimes to work on being better at things. To this day I carry that conversation with me as a lesson learned from my dad. Growing up, I was highly competitive with my siblings and sports, but I learned to win and lose graciously because of my dad.
