My Daughter and her family are on their way for our Holiday Celebration! :-) Christmas, to us, is ThanksMass. So i am in full Holiday Mode, even though today is 2 days past Christmas. My daughter Laylla and her wonderful Husband Chuck, both have many relatives and many Holiday celebrations to attend; so my daughter and I invented ThanksMass, for her Brood and Husband to visit here and celebrate the season in style. This relieves the pressure of trying to please everyone. I dont mind waiting. It is to me a wonderful life, awonder day and I love them dearly. I aint much fer house a keepin, imma bach e lor but do clean, just put off this type of duty until the last minute. ( I be good at that) but I put the clean on the spread and have made the stuffing which is in the turkey which is baking now. An apple pie and pumpkin pie are cooling on the table, i just finished wrapping the wee ones gifts ... and placed them under the ThanksMass Plant. ( Yes, Plant ) I decorate Elvis above and the Elephant leaf plant I gave her Mom as a 2cnd Anniversary present some 43 years ago when we were young newlyweds and summer stretched ... forever. Summer turned to winter and stayed that way for decades. Now, i await their arrival and hope the turkey bakes a golden brown in the next two hours. My GrandKids are on their way! Well Alrighty then! Life is GOOD! :-) Oh ThanksMass Plant, Oh ThanksMass plant, how I love that ThanksMass Plant! Grandkids are Lifes reward for, at one time in your life, settling down with good intentions. LRB
