My Dear Friends, Good ideas do not come from Republicans or - TopicsExpress

My Dear Friends, Good ideas do not come from Republicans or Democrats, they come from LEADERS willing to put Americas prosperity before special interest groups and party loyalty. This election, Instead of voting for another lawyer, how about we elect a SUCCESSFUL MANUFACTURER who has created a diverse workforce of scores of good paying JOBS and who knows how to bring those JOBS to CUYAHOGA COUNTY? As President and CEO of Jergens, Inc for over 30 years, Jack has been CREATING JOBS most of his life. In fact, JACK SCHRON believes in this county so much he spent nearly $10 million of his own money to transform 13 acres of the worst brownfield in Ohio, the Collinwood Yards, into arguably the most impressive industrial patch of commerce on Cleveland’s Northeast side. Im sure Jacks opponent is a good man but ONLY JACK SCHRON has been a part of our new charter form of government as a Cuyahoga County councilman since its inception. As the representative of District Six, Jack has been the Chairman of the Economic Development and Planning Committee as well as a member of the Finance & Budget and Education, and Environment & Sustainability Committees. Jacks opponent says he has a plan but JACK SCHRON has the EXPERIENCE our county needs and the resume to prove it. As County Executive Jack will be an outspoken leader in encouraging our young people to graduate from high school. Jack believes We have a solemn duty to present opportunities in training and education that give hope to those whose futures are in jeopardy. Jacks EXPERIENCE as Co-Founder of Tooling U online vocational training, Board member of Wire-Net and the Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education (NOCHE) as well as board member and Vice Chairman of the Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network (MAGNET), established to support, educate and champion manufacturing in Ohio, Jack understands the success of Cuyahoga County depends on a skilled and flexible workforce. As a member of these organizations Jack has been a leader in helping to find and train a qualified and talented pool of workers capable of filling the looming skills gap in our region. Jack is also a 28-year Army veteran who served as Advocate in JAG Corps and retired as Lieutenant Colonel. It is increasingly clear that no matter what party is in power, so long as our economy is hampered by lack of good paying jobs, and the training needed for people to fill those jobs, we will never produce enough revenue to balance our budget to be able to provide the essential services our county government provides. On his website, Jackschron, Jack states; We need to move Cuyahoga County into the 21st Century in a number of interrelated methods. It is a complex vision that requires a person who understands how all of the pieces fit together and knows the actions necessary to make it happen. It takes leadership – the kind of leadership that sets high standards, gets the right people involved, encourages and cajoles, and provides an example that inspires. It takes the kind of leadership that believes in the county, in the people that live here, and in the future. JACK SCHRON has the leadership qualities needed to implement a new vision for Cuyahoga County and the experience needed to get the job done. I hope you will join me in voting on Tuesday, November 4th for JACK SCRON. Your fellow citizen, Mary OMalley
