My Delhi Girl Parting days have come...I was wondering how to tell her about my departure...Though I knew that she would remain cheerful as ever, I was feeling heavy from inside...It was she who had waited for me every day. We made it a point to follow each other on our ways to and back from office. It was with her that I have explored the beauty of Delhi. Unlike other girl friends, she never used to make me wait (except for a couple of times when we had a very extended date till late in the night). Like all pretty ladies, she too had many admirers but I thought that I am someone special. She used to usher that thought in me in all our rendezvous. Ive even dared to introduce her to my wife and children when they visited Delhi and to my surprise my wife was too comfortable in her company and my kids enjoyed her chirpy ways and waved their hands at her each time when they met. She used to keep me warm when rest of the Delhi was shivering and she used to cool me down when the weather gets soaky...I know, All good things must come to and end...Some day..., Somewhere...! And while departing, she whispered....Ill join you in your town...! and I said....welcome dear Delhi Metro... I would love to have you there at Kochi...!
