My Dream for Rivers State from 2015 - 2024 (Riverine or Ijaw Governor): Great people of Rivers State, my name is Godspower Ipalibo Madodoye, an indigene of Bakana in Degema local government area in Rivers State of Great Ijaw extraction. If all my struggles for these few years now is just to have an Ijaw Governor from 2015 to 2024, then Im all men most miserable. This is owing to the fact that the Ijaws cant produce a governor in isolation and as a human with living conscience, I do not wish to divide the unity of our dear State. I strongly seek a Governor of Rivers State from the Ijaw stock to pilot our affairs from 2015 to 2024 without any obstruction, God willing. My dream for our State from 2015, as we have a change of mantle of governance begins with a God-fearing, very responsible and dedicated leadership and that can not happen except we intensify our efforts as a people tired of nepotism, deceit and impunity in governance at all levels and take the centre stage by proving to the aspirants at all levels that indeed Sovereignty Belongs to Us, that Political Power Rests With Us, The Masses! Great people, once that is done, next Phase is ensuring Checks and Balances in all forms of governance, from Ward to Brick House. Great people, I do not just seek an Ijaw Governor come 2015, that will definitely be a waste of time and resources! I seriously seek a credible Governor for all sectors of Rivers State from the Ijaw extraction. My quest is not driven by greed for political dominance, but equity, justice and fairness to all peoples including those people call non-indigenes. Let everyone who has something to offer be given the opportunity to express his or herself for society seeks men and women of applicable solutions! From 2015, I want to live in a Rivers State where the sitting Governor champions the thorough Cleanup of the Ogoni Land. From 2015, I want to live in Rivers State where all levels of education (from Primary to University) for our people is absolutely free! From 2015, I want to live in a Rivers State where the sitting Governor respects the feelings and sensitivities of our teachers and civil servants at all levels (Im not pointing accusing fingers at Governor Amaechi, but I need to see my people experience something different). From 2015, I strongly desire to live in a Rivers State where our State Legislature will not be locked down for whatever reasons. From 2015, I want to live in a Rivers State where Human Capacity Development will match Industry and Infrastructural Developments. No society survives without well established and regularly maintained and highly productive industries of different types to boost local production and massive job creation. From 2015, I have to live in a Rivers State where the security apparatus are not manipulated against the defenseless masses. From 2015, I desire a Rivers State where the Governor designs and seriously implements Rural Industrialization rather than focusing everything in the Urban environment. From 2015, I see a vision of a Rivers State where our youths will be so busy working with their God-given skills and talents in different industries that they wont even have the time to remember anti-social ills anymore. My people, I see a workable vision for Rivers State come 2015, but space and time will not allow me to give you more details but be rest assured that you and I can really achieve the aforementioned and even more for our dear State if we TAKE THE CENTRE STAGE OF RIVERS LEADERSHIP FROM NOW INTO TO ELECTIONS AND REMAIN AT THE CENTRE AS THE WATCHDOG OF THOSE WE HAVE GIVEN OUR MANDATES. Distinguished people of all races and cultural backgrounds, if you join forces with us in our organization, this feat is absolutely POSSIBLE. YES, ITS POSSIBLE!
