My FB friends, please know that I have been awed, humbled and overwhelmed at your sweet birthday greetings today. In addition to the greetings on my timeline, I received many personal messages and treasure each of them, whichever form they were. Thank you so much for taking the time to send me greetings. One sweet former classmate even posted one of my high school senior superlative pictures. Hard to believe that the once-17-year-old has now reversed those numbers. Whoa!!! People sometimes complain about the junk that they see on Facebook, but I have to say that Im so fortunate to have friends who - like me - just enjoy reconnecting with many people after many years, in addition to being in contact on a daily basis with more recent friends. Thanks to FB, I have reconnected with a former exchange student from Norway, with a friend from the Cayman Islands - and with many cousins, friends and relatives all over the U.S. I have enjoyed getting to know some people whom I never knew very well in addition to getting to know close friends even better. It just doesnt get any better than that! So once again, I say a sincere Thank You to each of you. You have each added a lot of enjoyment to my junior-senior years. Love you guys!!
