My FIFI is feeling better now. I shaved the area and gave her a warm bath. Her bottom was hurting again. I think she needed her anal glands squeezed . so I stayed up and did the same to FUJI and so Bill and I are going out to dinner another day. He understood . he felt sorry for FIFI too. I had another dog once and she got infected anal glands . It was really bad too she literally had a hold on the side of her butt. I felt so sorry for that dog and took her to the doctor. Sometimes they have to do surgery on dogs for that.Both of my dogs feel better when they are groomed. I was so upset when my groomer quit on me. and I still havent found one . Squeezing anal glads is part of grooming the dogs. It was hard for me to give them a bath after I broke my leg. So I needed one..But I just had to help FIFI so I did it. Sometimes you have to step up to the plate and do it yourself. FIFI was hurting so bad she only wanted me to hold her . She is just like a baby. She even fell asleep in my arms for a hour . She knows who will help her when she needs help. My other dog Mai Ling also came to me when she needed help. Once she got a belly ache and jumped up on me while throwing up on me. HAHA She was only a puppy when she did this.too.. When FIFI asked me for help ,I didnt know what was wrong but the second time she came to me . I just checked her out cause I know her and her needs. Dogs are very smart . I mean outside of rolling over or shaking paws . They really use their brains when they need help. Today, FUJI wanted to play with FIFI and she didnt want to play she nipped at her face but didnt bite him and crawled under the bed.. she was just telling him no. But he didnt listen and crawled under the bed after her and I had to step in and tell him no. cause If she did bite him she could start a fight and that is a bad thing. When she came out she sat near me cause she knows that I take care of her and will tell him no. But I also told her NO BITE-ING . She knows what that means too. cause she has bit me before and I would put my hand around her mouth and literally bit her on the cheek. Letting her know not to bite me or Ill bite you back. She sometimes gets a little fise-ty at times cause she will get pissed t times . She is a nervous little dog and barks at other dogs. but I correct that behavior . Once she run to another dog and was going to get him but Gina saved the day.This dog she ran after was a basset hound . and she is just a little Pekinese ..
