My Favourite Day Of The Year Summer comes to a close Leaves begins to fall The wind begins to howl All this means one thing My favourite day of the year is soon upon us all It goes by many names But all come to know it as Halloween Witches are flying high on their brooms Ghosts come out to haunt the living Vampires roam the night looking for a virgins neck to bite into Zombies rise from their graves looking for a feast of flesh Werewolves howl at the moon Freddy Krueger is stalking your dreams on that night Jason Vorrhees is stalking the woods for a victim Leatherface is carving a human stake with his chainsaw Michael Myers is carving a pumpkin on this night Trick or Treaters are all dressed up and out for candy While others are coving the neighbours house with toilet paper The Devil is out having a party with fellow demons like its Mardi Gras While Priest and nuns hide and pray....they have no sense of fun Pumpkins light the streets each with a personality of their own Yes Halloween has a different meaning for everyone For me its the one day of the year where people have fun Dress up as your favourite monsters and scare your friends and sit back with friends and have the phone ring with someone asking Whats your favourite scary movie? This day comes once a year and I love Halloween more than Christmas After all October 31st is my favourite day of year.
