My Friday observations: 1. The amount of time a political candidate spends attacking his/her opponent is an excellent indicator of his/her ability to work with colleagues of differing opinions when elected. 2. Time devoted to negative attacks on a political opponent is inversely proportional to the amount of time that candidate spends developing real world solutions when in office. 3. The level of bilious rhetoric a candidate directs at their opponent is directly proportional to the amount of time they devote to bickering and dissension when elected.
