My Friend, Friend 2s brother (who is also my friend) and his wife, will be traveling to NYC next month, and happened to mention to Friend 2, he wanted to take in a Broadway show with their other Brother. Friend 2 told him my cousins gotta some kind of show on Bway, maybe you could see that one. He called me. I said sure, I will see what I can do. Called on my Cousin, who is the Director of 4-times Tony Award nominated Broadway smash Motown, The Musical (written by Berry Gordy) , and he hooked my friends up with Best seats in the house ( his own). When I got back to Friend 2s brother, he was so grateful & amazed like I was all that. I played like I was Olivia Pope and said Pfft!!! Dude, nada problem. Its handled. Its not even a thang. Enjoy the show, as if I was used to having connections like that. Then I sat back in amazement about how wonderful family is... Last time I saw Charles Randolf-Wright, he was teaching me how to put worms on a fishing hook in a tiny town in South Carolina 40 years ago. Now, hes a big man and star-maker in the Big City. Its really cool how family never forgets. If you go to NYC, please see this show for me.
