My Gaming Diary: The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing (PC - Asus G75) - This was one of my absolute favorite games of 2013. While I have put a good chunk of time into it, I have not dedicated myself to finishing it. I think it is one of those cases of me not wanting it to be over. Which is silly, because there is DLC that I have not gotten to yet, as well as a full-blown sequel. I sat down tonight to play for 30 minutes before grabbing something to eat. Two hours later, I realized I was hungry. Guess I forgot to stop. My OCD means that I gamify the inventory management, and finding and managing loot is one of the strongest hooks in this game. The elementally-oriented powers provide plenty of bombastic on-screen action, as you can see in the attached clip. I am jonesing to get back into this title and put in many more hours in a sitting, but Left for Dead, another one of my favorite games, sits staring hungrily in my backlog. So many games. So little time.
