My George Harrison The Apple Years box came today. First impression: The packaging is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! The booklet has every page laminated. Each CD is housed really well. For those asking, the Extra Texture DOES have a fully textured package BUT the die cut is NOT there on the cover. I have been told that when you are working with packaging that small, the die cut just doesnt work well. I can fully understand because even the die cut on my full size album kept bending and ripping every time I took it off my shelf. I LOVE that the single version of Bangla Desh is included here. That song is SO good and Ive missed not having it. I watched the DVD. Not really loving it so far. Some of it is GREAT but some is puzzling, especially adding the Bangla Desh EPK because the album is not included in the box set. More on the DVD and the music in a future show. I cant wait to dig in!
