My God sacrificed his first and last, as a payment for our sins, and so we can stop sacrificing animals and people, and paying with there blood appeasement to the gods. For any man who is Washed in the Lords blood and accepts him as Master is both Priest and king in this world and no longer needs tribute or acknowledgement of gods or any other lesser spirits. And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations. (Leviticus 17:7) For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. (Psalm 96:3–6) Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. (Jeremiah 10:11)
