My Good Deed for the Day!! Driving Home to the Goode this aft around 5 Pm, I see Huge Plume of black smoke half a mile ahead in other lanes at Bankfield. exit 57 (North Bound Lanes). As I get close and look over I see a red car with a Woman 10 feet behind it, and the thing has flames pouring from Windshield forward, and front tires are on fire! Traffic slows to look! I go 4 KM and make u-turn, pull in 50 feet behind her and think This is going to Blow. She is freaking and has important stuff in Car! I call 911, and as I am, A big truck pulls in behind me and Guy Gets out with Fire Extinguisher , as I think, this aint gonna work! He empties good size CO2 on it for 30 seconds and no way!! We get a pry bar from his truck, and crack the Trunk, and take all her stuff out , including 10 pairs of shoes. :-) I then realize he has a truck for sucking up rocks, kinda like a Septic system truck, and I Say Dont you have a hose on that?, He looks at me and says Holy Shit, Never thought of that.! We unroll a 100 foot 1 Garden hose deal. and as he winds up pump I go to front and start to soak sucker down. The Front tires blow, and I jump outta my Skin, but we got it out after 10 min, before FD shows up in 2 Pumpers. All good but car is right off/ The moral of this is, STOP and give Moral help or shelter if nothing else. How can you drive by?? I dont even want a cigarette, my lungs are toast!
