My Grandad.❤️ Private Freddy Owen. Kings Own Scottish Borders Regiment. Midland Section. He was the youngest of 3 brothers called up so he went in just 2 years before the war ended, toured Palastine, Jerusalem, Egypt, ect, he never used to say much, the reason being he didnt see action like his 2 elder brothers and many friends so didnt feel he was worthy enough. But proud of him we are. He used to tell me he went to guard what had already been won. We all miss him.❤️
