My Grandfather was a good man. At the age of 5 he was homeless on - TopicsExpress

My Grandfather was a good man. At the age of 5 he was homeless on the streets of Kiev. His life story led to comfortable retirement in a Florida condominium and three college educated children as his legacy. There was no help outside of family. (Remember family?) Part of his assent was living in back of the bar that he owned, where my dad was born. July 1967 Newark NJ was consumed by blacks told to feel powerless and disenfranchised. They were no more so than the Asians and Slavics who barely spoke English, but the blacks believed it. My Grandparents lost EVERYTHING in that riot. That night a good man became racist. He recovered financially, from scratch. His colorblindness never recovered. Newark never recovered. The powerless and disenfranchised are still so 50 years later. Four generations of government dependency will do that. Dont feed the bears. Meanwhile 5 million powerless and disenfranchised were just imported. They are not my grandfather. Not even close.
