My Grandma Coyne started a Christmas tradition many, many years ago of making homemade ice cream and anyone that knows me well enough, they know that is one of my favorite sweets. When my Grandma was put into a nursing home, I carried on that tradition and even though she has been gone now for 15 years, I continue to carry on that tradition. The first gallon is made and in the freezer and gallon #2 is in the works. Love and miss you Grandma. I am always thinking of you whenever I get that ice cream maker out.
