My Grandmas house at Christmas. 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. We went over last night to see her decorations and I always just have to stop and stare because of all of the memories that come flooding back to when I was a little girl. This is the house where we watched old movies on projectors. This is the house that was filled with 8 new baby dolls on Christmas most years for the 8 girl cousins or 8 new cabbage patch dolls. (Yes there was only one boy and 8 girls). This is the house that I loved to visit when I came home from college. I do miss hearing Grandpas voice when I walk through those doors but I know he has been watching over us all for 8 years! Grandma said she almost didnt hang the stockings this year- Im so glad she did. Its just one of those memories that I look forward to seeing every year. Because every year another little stocking for another little great-grand baby appears on the stairs!
