My Great Grandfather, Peter Fellows 1840-1926, who married Mary Smith 1843-1915, in 1862. They lived at Spring House, The Folly, Greenside and had eleven children. He was a builder who built Alma Terrace, Rose, and Edwin, down the east of the village in the Folly, Holyholme on the Lead Rd (for his son James, a schoolmaster), its sister house, similar design , red brick, for his daughter Emily and her husband Bill Hands down The Folly, and, unconfirmed, Watson Street at High Spen (his daughter Mary Elizabeth married N.I.Watson the first) and Greenside Pit Chimney. There will be other builds. The Photo is taken outside Spring House.
