My Grownup Christmas List...makes me think of my kids. Today was an amazing day. We worked from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (with very little break) packing Christmas packs for our Skyline FCCLA Backpack Buddies. Over sixty children will be taking home a fleece blanket, socks, mittens and hats as well as a large stocking of goodies (coloring book, crayons, candy, toothbrushes, toothpaste, chapstick, soap, pencils, pens, stencils, stickers and so much more.) as well as a food pack containing 27 items. Not only has the community chipped in to make this happen, but so have so many of our very own Skyline students. They have worked very hard sewing bags, packing packs, bringing in items for stockings, and much, much more. I have some pretty special kids working in our home ec. department and FCCLA organization and I just want to thank them for everything they have done this semester. I couldnt have done it without them.
