My HILARIOUS of the MONTH - happened just now with my son Jackson, age almost 10 whom I consider to be a pretty smart kid with a decent vocabulary. He brushed his teeth and got into bed and I asked him to elaborate on his day at camp. I asked if he did any swimming at the beach/park and he said no.. it was too cold. I said ok, so what did you do? He said with a big smile, well we had a little Parkour... - I said .. WHAT? (In my head I was very confident he had NO idea what a park whore was) ....he reacted to my facial expression and said - I have no idea what you think that means but you should know its not that awful - and proceeded to explain that it is a holistic training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. - *sigh* Kiss on the forehead and off I went!
