My Harry Potter Story: They say the first book you fall in love with, influences your life as much as the first person you fall in love with. Though Im yet to experience the glory of falling in love, I can tell you all about my Harry Potter journey. :) I first read Harry Potter when I was in 10th grade. (I borrowed the books from my friend.) I was instantly smitten by the Magical World, the myriad of characters, the magical spells and beasts, Quidditch and everything to do with that world. I began to despair of how I was too old (14) to receive an Acceptance Letter from Hogwarts. I spent much of my time day-dreaming about studying at Hogwarts, of eating huge feasts at the Great Hall, of reading the books from the Hogwarts Library..and so forth. As the series progressed, Rowlings intricately woven plot captivated me to such extent that Id never put the book down until I finished reading the last page. Needless to say, this got me in trouble at school - for reading during my classes and at home - for reading past bedtime. :D Somewhere along this, Id fallen head over heels in love with Ron Weasley. He was my first and greatest fictional love.
