I accepted my vertical challenge in 2000 2 uears after joinin joining modeling when it dawned on me that I didnt meet the minimum male height requirements to excel as a top model being 3 mm below 5ft 9 inch. So I retired quickly. Just to share my thought, if your entry level is the minimum, you are on the low end of the bargaining cane. Take serious considerations on whether to fight against the challenge meaning you will have to do a lot more than the basics, alter your interest while sticki in the field or quit. I retained the interest so went ahead to learn, practice and research extensively to become the chair of our modeling club, then a trainer, choreographer, manager, agent and with the years I accumulated, now a consultant and do photography too besides event and concept development in the talent and entertainment field. I comfortably hang out with them even when they tower over me. This is the skill I pass on. Bottom line, be true to yourself, take in the reality, make practical choices, know the ideal does not carry the day. Have you a progressive day.
