~~My Holiday Reflection~~ ~*~ As I approach the holiday season….I focus on the true meaning and spirit of Christmas. I reflect back on my life and those who I have loved along the way, and continue to till this day… I have pain and trials over the course of my journey of years and through many traveled miles - The one true constant and one which I return to so often, is the beauty expressed by my loved ones smiles… The hopes the dreams of our childhood days, wax and wane, only to build momentum and lax back again, But the flicker of hope never dissipates with each beautiful sunrise and sunset promises remain… The Holidays for me are a time, a check point, along our journey in each of our lives to say thank you – to be the giver, to be the generous soul that wants not but for the only thing that remains true…. The entire purpose of our existence, with each new day a basket of new gifts from God, the Universe – the food we eat, the green grass beneath our feet, the blue sky above, the rainbows and the dove.... The one true thing that never dies – if it is true and real, unselfish, compassionate and benevolent – That beauty that reflects back to me in my loved ones eyes, the greatest gift of all….LOVE I love you all my family and friends, ones who are here in my present, ones who are in my memories from the past and to those I have yet to be fortunate to be acquainted with on my future journey… I will forever be in your debt for your love and friendship, I will be forever thankful for your lessons – I will carry them with me wherever I go and to use to be the best human being I can be.... This is what I aspire to be….as I know in the Kingdom of Heaven, My God will know me and I will know him – I live with Love in my heart, my soul, my mind….in every fiber of my being.... I strive to treat every day as a miracle and precious gift, to learn, to honor, to esteem to be in his likeness of his pure love.,,, I am not perfect nor any person on the face of this earth, I do not know all the answers to life here or the after-life and neither does any other man. I have faith that something beyond ourselves waits for us I have faith...... because there is ........LOVE…..
