My Holidays by Bayleaf Greyhound aged nearly 10 I get very excited when we go on holiday and I tell my mum so most of the way from Cardiff to Sardis. I never sleep during the journey like my brothers and sisters - I stand up with my head between the front seats and drool on my mum and my human sister and squeak a bit too. When we are about 10 minutes away from the house, I get really noisy and wake up the others to tell them that we are nearly there - though Mum begs me not to. As soon as we arrive, we all spill out of the van and straight into the house, running through immediately into the garden. You can see how excited I am from the picture. I love running in the paddock too. But my favourite place on holiday is the beach when I can run and run and climb up the rocks. You can see that I am still the fastest Greyhound in the land and am leading a big chase on the beach.
