My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea…It’s daddy! I’m sitting at the airport writing to you. You loved to travel. You know I think of you countless times a day. You took a piece of my heart, soul and life left with you that keeps me connected to you. While it hurt it also gives me great hope. I’m off to Detroit to share your story and help raise money for Relentless Detroit. You would love this group. It’s a large team of big time weightlifters and body builders that compete to raise tons of money to help families that have children fighting cancer. They raise $100,000’s of dollars to help families which is so amazing. They want me to speak on Relentless Living: How to Finish Strong! It’s all about you and your relentless courage and compassion to fight cancer and spread love along the way. My challenge to them is to Be Brave! Be Bold! and Be a Blessing to Others. That is exactly what you did. You were brave and trusted God. You were bold because you did want others didn’t. And because of those two traits you were (still are) a blessing to others. That is how we live relentless lives. We focus on being brave despite the hurdles in front of us. We commit to being bold and doing whatever it takes to move forward despite the odds. And most important, we use our time, talents, treasure and touch to be a blessing to someone in need. That is what you did…that is what I strive to do every day of my life and I hope I can encourage others to thrive rather than survive. I hope you like the design our dear friend and amazing artists Diana Mordin created for this challenge. Totally reminds me of you. She also was the cool designer behind Cade’s Super Hero Training School. She has given the last three years of her life to you. You inspire her too. What a gift she is to you/us!!! These pictures of you also reminds me of just how brave you where when you...going into radiation each day knowing you were going to get strapped to a table and not be able to move for 20 mins. Getting chemo when it make you feel crapy. You were so brave. Got to get on the plane… Miss you tons…love you more…see you in a wink! xoxo daddy
