My Joey Ramone story: I was walking to school, on Washington Square Park North in #Manhattan (didnt have the money for the subway), and I see Joey Strolling down the blvd heading to the West Village, and my mouth hung agape. I stopped in my tracks and watched him walk by me. About 20 feet after he was past me, I screamed, Hey Joey, I wanna be sedated!, and without missing a stride, or looking back, he hung his head, threw the goat to the sky, and kept walking. Thank God for cool big brothers who had vinyl when I was a kid. Ill never forget that Ramones record, Dale. Or while were at it, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap; Bon Scott is STILL one of my favorite frontmen of all time and I routinely sing ACDC at Brass Monkey Karaoke.
