My Journey to Eastern Himalaya. ( Darjeeling-sikkim) After many days of suspending planning , I got opportunity to join a French friend for a trek over Singelila ridge or Sandakphu trek : which is considered one of the most scenic trek in northern- eastern Himalayan region of Darjeeling. Before leaving for trek we have visited darjeeling town including early morning excursion to tiger hill to view the sun rise on Kangchendjunga and later in the day world famous tea gardens , joy ride by heritage toy train. We have started this scenic trek on 6th November from Manibhanjang and ends up on 8th by descending from Sandakphu to Rimbik and back to Darjeeling. An amazing trek which from each hills and curves provides the breathtaking view of magnificent Himalayan peaks elevated over eight thousands mtrs including Kangchenjunga, Makalu. Everest , Lhotse and many more as of panduim, Kabru, Kumbhakaran and Ratang etc.. 8th November we took road to Pelling and visited the monastery of Pema Yangtse and ruin of RABDENTSE, the second capital of ancient kingdom of Sikkim. 9th November took a scenic road to Yoksum, the first capital of ancient kingdom of Sikkim and further to Gangtok via monastery of Rumtek, En route we enjoyed view of amazing terraces of paddy, cascading waterfalls , and magnificent Himalayan peaks those following us from very beginning of our arrival in Darjeeling
