My Journey with God, Part 165 11 Therefore they were called after this holy order, and were sanctified, and their garments were washed white through the blood of the Lamb. 12 Now they, after being sanctified by the Holy Ghost, having their garments made white, being pure and spotless before God, could not look upon sin save it were with abhorrence; and there were many, exceedingly great many, who were made pure and entered into the rest of the Lord their God. 13 And now, my brethren, I would that ye should humble yourselves before God, and bring forth fruit meet for repentance, that ye may also enter into that rest. 14 Yea, humble yourselves even as the people in the days of Melchizedek, who was also a high priest after this same order which I have spoken, who also took upon him the high priesthood forever. 15 And it was this same Melchizedek to whom Abraham paid tithes; yea, even our father Abraham paid tithes of one-tenth part of all he possessed. 16 Now these ordinances were given after this manner, that thereby the people might look forward on the Son of God, it being a type of his order, or it being his order, and this that they might look forward to him for a remission of their sins, that they might enter into the rest of the Lord. 17 Now this Melchizedek was a king over the land of Salem; and his people had waxed strong in iniquity and abomination; yea, they had all gone astray; they were full of all manner of wickedness; 18 But Melchizedek having exercised mighty faith, and received the office of the high priesthood according to the holy order of God, did preach repentance unto his people. And behold, they did repent; and Melchizedek did establish peace in the land in his days; therefore he was called the prince of peace, for he was the king of Salem; and he did reign under his father. 19 Now, there were many before him, and also there were many afterwards, but none were greater; therefore, of him they have more particularly made mention. Verily, your heart is very hard. Christ faced this during his mission on this earth, as He perceived the hardness of the hearts of the Pharisees, Sadducees, and so forth. Why are you resisting the Spirit of truth? Why are you allowing the devil to have a hold upon your heart? Why dont you focus on the TRUE / FALSE questions, instead of ranting and raving with all manner of emotional accusations? Why dont you honor the Oath and Covenant of the Holy Priesthood? I notice that you tend not to share scriptures, just like the very devil, and when you do, you mingle some truth with false doctrines, and moreover, you tell me that I ought not to share scriptures! Why do ye not comprehend the simple statement that truth is truly independent in that sphere in which God has placed it? Do ye not understand the meaning when it is said that the Holy Priesthood is based on principles of truth and righteousness? Why do ye put truth to the wayside, and continually go back to being a respecter of persons? Do ye not know that God would cease to be God if He did not conform with truth, eternal principles, and so forth? Why do ye think ye can put truth to the wayside? You say that I am contending. Verily, look at the facts. I am trying to focus the discussion on truths, issues, and so forth. You start capitalizing your words, go on and on with emotional rantings and ravings, make all manner of false accusations, and so forth. I say unto you, you are contending against the truth, just like Zeezrom did with Alma and Amulek before Zeezrom repented. I sent you a bunch of TRUE / FALSE questions, answer them, rather than ranting and raving. If you are truly concerned about me, then align yourself with pure truths, and have the courage to stand up for pure truths, and follow the example of Jesus Christ. I am astonished at your words, as they are clearly not true. You might think that I have no appreciation or understanding of the nature of the Holy Priesthood, verily, recall the blessing that I received from a Patriarch shortly after my privileges were suspended. For your reference, it says Bharat Virabhai Kharadia, I give you this blessing in the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood that I bear. I pray for guidance that I will utter words of value and the words of the Lord. Bharat, you have a responsibility to expound things unto the council. Enjoy your knowledge and the council situation. You have a deep appreciation understanding, and knowledge of the Priesthood. You have an unusual knowledge of the gospel. You have an unusual ability in sensing the needs of others. You have an unusual ability to teach the gospel. You have a responsibility to use and teach your knowledge so that others understand. It is important for you to continue learning the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. You must maintain your testimony and retain truth. It is important that you comply with truth. Pray for guidance and listen to both prayers and answers. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. I hope that you will ponder this blessing, and that you will look at yourself in the mirror and consider the possibility that you are plainly wrong. Be humble, and let the Spirit of truth work within you, and you will then know that what I am saying rings true. Once again, focus on truth, and not on ranting and raving. By not focusing on the truth, you will make the same mistake that people made when they persecuted Christ. Ask yourself, If you were alive at the time of Christ, and were born into a family of Sadducees, would you also have persecuted Christ, crucified him, and so forth? Once again, answer the TRUE / FALSE questions. Focus on the truth. Truth is eternal. The word of God will not pass away, but will be all fulfilled. Do not place your eternal salvation in the hands of the children of men. Learn to rely on the Holy Ghost. Be not a respecter of persons. Truly understand what is said in the seventh chapter of the Book of Moroni, and apply it. Do not follow the example of the prophet whose carcass was cast in the way (1 Kings 13) when he was a respecter of persons. You made several references to the disciplinary council, the Church handbook of instructions, and so forth. Start at square zero, and ask whether the things that were done unto me were right or not. Truth matters. Truth matters. Once again, truth matters. Also, do not forget the difference between programs and doctrines, handbooks and scriptures, and so forth, and do not get lost in culture, keep this separate from doctrine. You refer to rebellion and apostasy. Remember, apostasy is a falling away from truth. It is not defined as following pure truths, and doing much good, but nevertheless, contrary to unrighteous instructions coming forth from Church leaders. If you are honest with yourself, then you will know that I am rebelling against Satan, and aligning myself with God. Do not forget that God is a God of truth. Also, do not forget that Satan is the father of lies. Once again, truth matters. A leader can not hide behind the cloak of the Priesthood, nor behind the cloak of another leader, although leaders may try to do such things to gratify their pride, hide their sins, and so forth. Food for thought: the current Stake Presidency reviewed the minutes of my excommunication (stored in the records of the Church at Salt Lake City), and consensed that the facts, as documented in the minutes, did not back up the charge of apostasy. Verily, the Stake President that excommunicated me also ranted and raved, accused me with all manner of false accusations, and so forth, without presenting scriptures backed up by the strong reasoning of the Lord. Instead, all manner of slippery and false statements came forth out of his mouth. In one meeting, he even said that I was very in tune with the Holy Ghost, and in the very same meeting, said that I was on the road to apostasy. The statements that you are making are all over the place and without a solid foundation based on doctrine and pure truths. Your statements remind me of the statements made by Jobs friends, for verily, his friends made all sorts of statements that were not right before the Lord. They mixed truths with false doctrines, accused Job of all manner of things, and so forth. In closing, please focus on the truth, and answer the TRUE / FALSE questions.
