My MORE2 fabulous board member Gladys White just sent me this message... If you are inclined to help, please just say so and I will connect you with Gladys. I just left a meeting at ACE Elementary School that left me in tears. They have over 300 children grades K-6 at their school. Today with the temperature being around 16 this morning at the start of the school day over two hundred of those children got off of the bus or walked to school with no coats, hats, gloves,scarves and some even in short sleeved uniform shirts. I am appealing to you ladies and all of your contacts at your churches or organizations to join me and Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with our Winter Wear Drive. If you could please pass the word starting ASAP we have to help these children. I am willing to pick up as well as distribute. I am on my way to the dollar stores to purchase as much as $50 dollars will buy to take back up there tomorrow. I plan to hit every store that sells clothing I can next week, asking to speak to the managers to see if they will help with this worthwhile effort.
