My MOST FAVORITE story in the Bible is about the woman with the issue of blood. She teaches a few good lessons if we just pay attention... Matthew 9:20-22 (NKJV) “And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.”... We all get sick or deal with some sort of physical pain. Whether it’s the common cold, that dreaded seasonal flu, the toe you stubbed on the corner of the bed, physical therapy, chronic pain or the joy of our menstrual cycles. Pain happens. Suffering doesn’t have to. The woman in this passage had a blood flow for 12 years. Let me repeat that, TWELVE years! She said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” She was afflicted but through her faith, she was healed. If you are afflicted with a physical pain or illness, make an appointment with the greatest Healer of all. Ask for your healing and trust that it is done. Always wear your armor. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy…your faith! The enemy will test this and attempt to put the doubt in your mind that you have not fully received from the Lord that of which you have asked. Stand firm and proclaim your healing aloud, “I HAVE RECEIVED MY HEALING AND I WALK IN MY BLESSING!”
