My Mama is on my mind! She has been gone for 16yrs. But not forgotten. I remember going to visit, dont get up to go to the bathroom or your bed will be made and she is sitting at the table with your cup of coffee, smiling! Thats my mom. Well, when I was younger we moved and some so called friends helped my mom and dad to more than just moving. My moms wedding ring was stolen. For years she didnt wear one. Well, I came in for her birthday one year and I took daddy and Frankie to Kmart where they bought her a nightgown. Then I went to Franks jewelry and bought my mama a wedding band, I had it gift wrapped and put it in my dads pocket. I said this is from you and the gown is from me and Frankie, he had no idea what was in it, and I said this is just between you and I. When my mama opened her gift from me and Frankie she smiled like any mom would do Then, my dad said Nukey I got something here for you in my pocket. When she opened it they both cried. That was the best moment in my life! She went to her grave knowing that my dad bought that ring and in my mind he did! True love never dies!!!!
