My Mom and I went to The Whistling Train Saloon for lunch today in Danielson, CT. This was once an Inn that was just restored with a lot of hidden history. Original tin ceiling and original bar, original woodwork within the bar area as well. There are 2 dining rooms and an outdoor patio in the back. The food was amazing! I got the ham with brie, apples and caramelized onions on a ciabatta roll which was delicious and and my mom got the roast beef sandwich that was fantastic. They cook their own roast beef on the premises. The whole menu looked very good and we will be sure to go back!
