My Mom did exactly as this post says. I never knew how she was able to do all that she did. She never drove, had to get her GED when my dad left. Never had money since our dad handled all finances. But when he left she got her GED at about the age of 55, then graduated in the top of her class as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, worked late nights and holidays, then learned how to sterilize instruments, and has done that for over 20 years and still works 2 days a week at the age of 82. She was raised in an orphanage, she was dealt a bad hand of cards, but, she provided for us and still supports all 4 of her daughters and grand, and great grand kids. She is my hero. And I tell her this as often as I can. I love my mom!!!
