My Mom immigrated to America shortly after serving her mission in her native country, Holland. She left her parents and loved ones in the Netherlands to follow her dream and marry my Father. He joined the church while serving as an Marine MP during the Korean war. My Father left a successful career with the Marine Corps to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost from the Lord that led his heart to serve and respond to his mission in Holland. My parents, decided to marry in the Los Angeles House of the Lord. Sending Love to my Dad and Mom for sealing our family in temple throughout he resorted gospel of Jesus Christ. Raising my 4 sisters and 2 brothers in Zion, near Big Cottonwood canyon. Rooting for our Dutch ancestry and other family members in our Motherland.
