My Mother taught me to knit about six months ago. So far I have only done one square. It is a very good square, that took me almost a week to complete. I unraveled it many times before I was satisfied. My mother told me not to worry too much about it being perfect. Its my first square! Of course I want it to be fantastic, it determines how the rest will end up. So now my beautiful square is stored away safely. So long as it is still looking at me every time I open that drawer, I will not forget about what I must complete, one day.
